Officer – Credit Administration

Overview

An Officer, Credit Administration is responsible for managing and monitoring the operational, documentation, and compliance aspects of credit facilities to ensure that all financing transactions are processed in accordance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and approved terms and conditions

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable guidelines related to credit administration, documentation, and disbursement processes.
  • Prepare and verify credit documentation, including finance agreements, security documents, guarantees, and related legal documents.
  • Ensure proper execution and safe custody of security and legal documents before disbursement of facilities.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel, relationship managers, and borrowers for completion of documentation formalities.
  • Process disbursement, rollover, renewal, and adjustment of financing facilities in the core system.
  • Monitor expiry of agreements, collateral documents, guarantees, limits, and other credit-related covenants.
  • Prepare reports related to credit administration, documentation deficiencies, excesses, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure timely completion of post-disbursement documentation and perfection of securities.
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation review capabilities.
  • The ideal candidate should be technologically proficient and well versed in the use of digital platforms, IT applications, Microsoft Office tools, and other system-based solutions

Eligibility Criteria

Education 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Credit Administration, Corporate Banking Operations, or Credit Operations within a bank or financial institution 

Core Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of SBP/SECP regulations and risk management
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
  • Ability to assess risks and develop practical solutions.
